In a collaborative effort between the Bangkok Community Help Foundation, EMRO Thailand, the SK Foundation of Social Wellbeing and the Klong Toey District Office, strides are being made to improve the environmental and public health conditions in the Klong Toey Lower-Income Communities. Recognizing the detrimental impact of polluted waters on the community’s well-being, our organizations have come together to implement innovative solutions.
With over 10,000 liters of EM already administered, we are witnessing a tangible reduction in the levels of E. coli and coliform bacteria, which are common indicators of water contamination. This significant decrease signifies a pivotal step towards creating a safer and healthier environment for the residents of Klong Toey.
Through ongoing monitoring and assessment, we are committed to ensuring that our efforts continue to yield positive results. By harnessing the power of EM technology and leveraging the expertise of our partner organizations, we are laying the groundwork for sustainable environmental stewardship in the community.
Together, we remain steadfast in our dedication to improving the quality of life for all residents of the Klong Toey Lower-Income Communities. Through collaborative initiatives like this, we demonstrate the transformative impact that collective action can have on addressing complex environmental challenges and fostering healthier, more resilient communities.
